The Raspberry Pi 3 has a HDMI port which you can plug directly into a monitor or TV, If your monitor is VGA interface, then all you will need is a HDMI to VGA Adapter.
Required equipment:
1, HDMI to VGA Adapter Cables ( How to select HDMI cables? ).
2, LCD monitor or Smart TV
3, Raspberry pi 3 development board
4, mouse and keyboard
5, 5V, 2A power cord
6, 8GB TF card and card reader
Power supply needs 5V, 2A power supply, or get a smartphone charger, the first get mouse and keyboard and connected to pi 3 , power up it. the system is running relatively smooth, the desktop and browser and the terminal etc..
